MANCHESTER, MD 21102

PRESENTER: JUDI HODGES OF CEM

Vital information on the key steps every church should have in place and active to provide a safe, secure and loving environment for their children, youth and families.

Staff and volunteers will be made aware of measures they can enact to protect their ministries and feel confident in handling any issues that may arise.
Our goal is that every leader should be clearly informed, pro-actively involved, and prepared for action as advocates of our families, our ministry staff and our community.

GUESTS ARE WELCOME FROM OTHER CHURCHES.

"When the Fields (heads) are White to Harvest"

Saturday Morning, June 17, 2017

KIRKRIDGE ARP CHURCH

2236 OLD FORT SCHOOLHOUSE RD.

MANCHESTER, MD 21102

PRESENTER: JUDI HODGES OF CEM

Over half of our church members are over fifty...which often means fit, intelligent, free, tested and yielded to serve Christ.

At a time when our generation:

has more time, disposable income, and resources than most any other time in our lives...

has more experience, skill sets and wisdom,

has more to give and more reasons to gratefully give it...

let's look at what ministry as seniors can mean and how we can impact our church and community for Christ.

"How The Local Church Can

Minister to Refugees"

To Be Announced

Ms. Elinor Griffin, ONA, Refugee Ministry Coordinator

"Elinor Griffin is the Refugee Ministry Coordinator for the ARP Church through Outreach North America. Refugee work became a calling dear to her heart a few years ago when she was able to meet and work with refugee families in Baltimore. Since then, she's been involved in refugee ministry both here in the United States and overseas. In her role with ONA, Elinor encourages and equips ARP churches to reach out in faith to care for refugees in their communities."

Register here for the event!

The refugee crisis is bringing thousands of people to us... how should we in the Christian community respond? Elinor shares her heart and the Biblical foundations of the response we are called on to make. She will also tell us about ways that some ARP churches are engaging the refugee communities and how we can minister to our new neighbors, too.
